The lads on the miniature railway at Foxfield are heading off each weekend into the woods, well the thickets, on the mound at the top end of the field at Foxfield armed with shovels and spirit levels as they plan and plot the extension and balloon loop round it. The impetus for this has come from the arrival of more track via the trailer of Duncan Milner. They have also been having great fun with their latest aquisition, namely a petrol powered hydrostatic drive 4 wheeled loco which they have operating most Sundays (petrol allowing!) so please come along and have a look at their efforts, it will give them some support end encouragment to keep up the good work!
On an aside I have recently posted another video on youtube which features some shots during a run up the line on the footplate of Florence No.2 (well I was driver for the day so I had chance!).
