Cheffins Auction
This coming Saturday, 27th March, sees the nationally renown auction house Cheffins hold the sale of the Bill Briggs steam collection at the railway. Bill is well known in steam circles and has a wonderful collection built up over many years including the Burrell agricultural 'Diamond Queen', a regular attendee at rallies around Staffordshire and Cheshire. Bill has, however, decided it is time to hang up his firing shovel and spanners and retire to a quieter life on the Isle of Man. Foxfield is honoured to be able to host the sale and we look forward to a big attendance at this event. Either Meaford No2 or Florence No2 will be in steam on the day, but not included in the sale!
