The wanderer returns

Firstly my apologies for not having updated on here recently, mainly due to holidaying in Cornwall over the last week, but also pressures of work! When do I get to retire?
So a few updates on progress....
Firstly the locomotives - Bellerophon has returned to steam following repairs to the little ends, almost! She is being particularly petulant at the moment and is giving troubles with two mudhole doors to an unusual design. These are particularly tricky to fit and keep watertight, and in two steamings each has either blown out or leaked so heavily that she had to be failed. Must get it right though as she has a booking in June that cannnot be missed, about which more will become apparent nearer the time. Wimblebury is alleged to be going to Chasewater in June but this is awaiting confirmation also.
The Carriage boys are about to outshop Mk1 TSO W4762 following overhaul and repaint into maroon, and very smart it looks too with just the numbers to be applied. It should be out and in traffic this coming weekend allowing the Mk2 BSO to go into the works for attention.
Work is in progress to rerail a couple of waggons in one of the rarely used sidings to gain access to the steam crane currently languishing in the undergrowth at Dilhorne Park. The waggons were victims of a heavy shunt many years ago and have remained off the road as they were not in the way and made effective anti vandal devices should the local village idiots decide to try a run-away!
This coming Bank Holiday weekend also sees the miniature railway hosting a collection of visiting engines, the lads working on this project making great strides in their efforts and the little line is coming on leaps and bounds, I noticed a new water tower in place last Sunday, they have better facilities than the full sized one! If you would like to come alaong and have a look then they will be having great fun all weekend!
I will try and update soon with some photos
